Summertime love in Texas

“‘Cause there ain’t no cure for the summertime blues.” Actually, Alan, we think we may have found the perfect cure. How about a summertime wedding! These pretty summer blues worked so well for the August wedding of Julie and Justin and we can’t get enough! From the dresses to the flowers to the decor, blues were a constant theme throughout this Texas summer wedding here at Emery’s.

Traditionally speaking, summer is considered prime time wedding season but in recent years, October and November weddings are growing in popularity. Soft blues, whites and gold. Oh, we are loving these details!

From the makeup chair, to the ceremony, to the dance floor, these ladies transitioned flawlessly and look absolutely stunning in those pretty blues! And can we talk about how much we love mismatched bridesmaids dresses? LOVE.

Not to be outdone, the fellas opted for (wait for it…) BLUE jeans, BLUE shirts and BLUE jackets and we’re not mad at it.

What Texas wedding would be complete without cowboy boots… and a buttoned-down shirt… unbuttoned? We see you, Justin! Werk.

Sure, you see your person everyday, but there is magic in that first look. Nothing compares. Such a special moment between this beautiful couple, captured perfectly. You can just feel the emotion!

This bouquet is so gorgeous! And perfect for this summertime wedding. Just look at that pretty pop of blue! We love the mix of white, cream and soft green. So elegant and pretty.

Ceremony at Sts Peter and Paul

The ceremony took place at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic church in Bellville, Texas. Just right down the road from Emery’s, if you’re looking for a catholic ceremony and a fantastic reception venue to bring the celebration back to, look no further!

Dancing the night away – Texas Style

Look out Michael Jackson! Seriously, can this guy be at every wedding here at Emery’s? So fun!

Our surround sound system at Emery’s can be heard throughout all parts of the venue and certainly keeps the party rocking! Maybe a tad too loud for this tiny guest but it looks like she’s taken care of with her cute little BLUE headphones! I mean, seriously? How cute is that?!

The Father-Daughter dance. It just gets us. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Pass the tissue, please and thank you.
