You are going to love this couple! Hannah and Robbie never knew that their wedding date they picked would be set in the middle of a worldwide crisis. Their wedding dates were changed twice and adjustments had to be made. This inspiring couple was determined to make the most of their dream wedding. Plans set in motion to cut a few guest at Houston’s only winery wedding venue and they let go of what they could not control. This Covid-19 Texas wedding couple passed the crisis situation together with flying colors!
The Texas couple dated for 3 years. It wasn’t long into the relationship that Robbie knew that Hannah was THE one for him. Robbie had a proposal in mind and he wanted it to be special and private. Hannah was led by rose petals in the driveway that steered her to the back yard and on to the patio where she discovered a beautifully lit table full of candles and photos from their entire relationship! She turned around and there was Robbie on one knee with a ring in his hand. She said yes!
Ideally, the Texas couple wanted a rustic glam wedding that was outdoors for their ceremony and reception. It was very important that their guest have a great time celebrating their union. The Bride knew she did not want to worry with all the details that came with planning a large wedding. She had discovered the best of both worlds at Emery’s Buffalo Creek. Hannah chose our All-inclusive package.
Including certified planners; they had a beautiful lakefront Gazebo to hold their ceremony, and an open-air Hall to have dinner. A grand Wine bar to access any alcohol for the evening. The guest could dance under the dreamy Bistro lights on the Firefly Terrace. In the grand scheme of things, Emery’s Buffalo Creek winery wedding venue was an instant winner for this Covid-19 Texas wedding couple!
The Brides colors were Blush, Mauve and Sage. Hannah loved flowers and wanted this to be showcased along with her rustic glam style. She showed us pictures of gold floral hoops that she wanted to incorporate in her wedding. Hannah had 9 beautiful Bridesmaids and she wanted something unique for them. She loved peonies, so we paired dreamy peonies with the modern gold floral hoops for fun arm candy.
Accents of champagne gold with glam sequins were planted in several places. Take a look at this decadent wedding cake that looks too good to eat! Other touches of champagne gold were displayed on the table runners on Emery’s farmhouse tables. The couples table and reserved table had special linens just for them.
Hannah and Robbie’s wedding was planned for early Spring, then COVID-19 happened. They were one of the many Spring couples that Emery’s had to reach out to. It is during these times that we discover the resilience of a couple. If there was any challenge to be more daunting for any Bride and Groom in 2020, it would have to be the COVID-19 situation.
Hannah and Robbie knew that they must put their wedding on hold, but they did not want to put off their wedding date any more. After much deliberation they decided on a June wedding with a reduced guest list.
They had big plans coming in the Fall 2020, a family of 3 to get ready for!
Hannah fell in love with a Stella York classic wedding dress that was fit for a modern-day princess bride. This princess style dress had a beaded lace bodice that beautifully captured the light during the day and night. The soft romantic skirt is light as air and the entire dress seemed perfectly made for just for Hannah. Little did they know that this exquisite dress would end up being a divine maternity dress for the glowing mom to be. Hannah had the cutest baby bump, and this glowing Bride could not have worn her wedding dress better!
The Groom and his crew wore classic black suits with a 3-piece set complete with a vests. Not only did this crew look handsome and sharp, but the ladies sure shined standing next to them.
The couple decided to do their ‘first touch’ at the rustic barn doors at Emery’s Buffalo Creek. Emotions rocked the room as soon as Robbie and Hannah clasped hands together but they immediately felt relaxed. The exchange of beautiful letters to each other was so meaningful that you cannot help but get teary eyed. They were ready to tie the knot.
Hannah and Robbie took the pandemic predicament one day at a time up to their wedding day. Close family and friends came to support them and show their love for this sweet Covid-19 Texas wedding couple.
The EBC family loves all our Brides. However, we have to say that this particular wedding is one for the books. The resilience and determination of this couple, to make their wedding happen during a global pandemic struck a chord with us. We wish their beautiful family every happiness together for many years to come!
