Jessica may have grown up on a cattle ranch but that didn’t mean she doesn’t have a dainty side to her. She knew she wanted a Vintage blush inspired wedding. Other accent colors included in her theme colors were navy, ivory, and silver to add to the ambiance of her wedding day. Her other half, Braden, grew up in the country as well. The vintage theme and rustic venue search went hand in hand for this sweet couple. Their vision came together at this Indoor Outdoor wedding venue.
The Bride chose to have her wedding at Emery’s Buffalo Creek where she knew that her vintage theme she had in mind, would fit in wonderfully. There is one thing to note; Jessica, is a wedding Coordinator and a Planner. She knew that the “chaos control” side of her would come out if she didn’t hire a great Coordinator to take care of her wedding day. She is so glad she did this, it worked out terrifically.
Since Jessica wanted to incorporate vintage décor in her wedding, it was easy to choose what she wanted. The vintage styling has a special ambiance that reminds people of their roots, purity, and innocence. She chose to use old ivory bird cages filled with flowers set atop blush linens. Old treasures always remind us of a time gone by. That wasn’t all, for the backdrop behind the head table were a few vintage windows along with some retired wine barrel hoops. Flowers and greenery laced the hoops for a softer touch. Lace linens graced the Wine barrel tables. These linens added another layer of vintage elegance.
Jessica practiced restraint when picking out the vintage décor, she knew that simplicity was key when it came to displaying old items. All this daintiness looked gorgeous and her man was happy that this feminine decor was set in a refined rustic winery wedding venue.
Shopping for a dress turned out to be a little more unnerving than Jessica expected. It was frustrating for Jessica because she usually comes to a decision quickly. Her list of ‘must haves’ for her wedding dress was a long one. Jessica had family with her while shopping. She was just about the make a purchase when she spotted a dress in the distance. Jessica grabbed this dress to try it on and this was THE one! She fell in love. However this dress was nothing like she planned, or what her family had envisioned her wearing.
Her Hollywood style dress is reminiscent of the 1950’s due to Christian Dior’s debut of the “new look” in 1947. This dress is a blend of classic and contemporary that perfectly offset the couples Vintage blush inspired wedding. Her gorgeous sleeveless wedding gown featured a striped organza fabric with a sweetheart ballerina fitted bodice and a voluminous skirt that swung with movement. The long train on the dress had extra skirting which added to the design of the dress.
The ladies were a little spoiled by Jessica. She treated them to gorgeous Kendra Scott earrings. A sweet moment shared before getting ready always breaks the ice. The Bridesmaids dresses were different designs and coordinated between two colors. Those colors were dusty rose and blushing pink. The Groom and Groomsmen wore Navy tuxedos with blush vests and ties. Braden gave his groomsmen monogrammed mugs that the men enjoyed that night.
A beautiful moment before the couples big day. The preacher came in and said a blessing with both parties. Something that I always see that calms everyone down before the ceremony.
If you ask Jessica what her favorite part of any wedding is, as she is in the business herself. She will tell you it is the look on the Groom’s face when he sees his Bride for the first time. This picture says it all and you know what Braden is feeling when he sees Jessica walking down the aisle towards him. This is the moment she waited for. She knew in that instant that she had picked the right wedding dress!
After the some hilarious speeches. The reception started off with a fantabulous meal of Prime Rib, loaded mashed potatoes, bacon onion green beans, and Cesar salad. Guest were entertained with a photo booth and a sweets bar before the dancing got started. The wedding guest list was large, and therefore this group needed a big dance floor! After the meal and toasts where completed, all the guests moved outside to our lighted firefly terrace to dance the night away under the stars.
At the end of the evening, instead of a traditional ending for her big day, Jessica knew she wanted something different. She wowed her guest with a dramatic fireworks show that was set to music and displayed over Emery’s Buffalo Creeks five acre lake. The music with the fireworks had a special meaning to the couple as it was music from their first movie date. The movie was The Greatest Showman. The guest thoroughly enjoyed this. What a wonderful ending to Jessica and Braden’s Vintage Blush inspired wedding day!
