Katelyn first presented to us a very classic green and blue Boho style wedding that she had wished for. We thought it was elegant and loved it, so we put together some ideas and went into the meeting ready to go. We always ask deep questions in our planning meetings here at Emery’s Buffalo Creek and we could see straight away that Katelyn and Josephs wheels were turning. Since we could see they were struggling a bit, we recommended for them to search images of Vibrant Boho Styles on Pinterest, because the couple’s personality was so joyful and alive.
One of the questions we asked was “Does this color scheme and style represent you as a couple? Is this how you want your day to be remembered?” During that meeting, they turned to each other right then and said ‘Hmmm, No.’ That was a first for Jessica and I, as planners to get a resounding no and halt the meeting. We told them to come back to us the following week, we wanted them to think this through together without our influence.
The Following meeting, we went through our series of questions again in hopes to discover their wedding style and we absolutely loved what the style they came up with! It was a Vibrant Modern Boho style with wedding colors of deep coral, mustard, blush, and mauve that matched the sunset skies in Spain. Katelyn and Joseph had been to Spain and wanted to remember the gorgeous sunsets they saw there. The couple also wanted an upbeat winery indoor outdoor wedding that was more to their nature than other ordinary venues they saw.
Katelyn’s dress completed the look. Her dress featured a demure neckline in a soft lace Boho A- line style dress accented with slim crystal belt that was a perfect match to this Vibrant Boho Wedding at Houston’s Winery Wedding Venue. This dreamy dress was from Essence of Australia. Not only was this dress a knockout, the bride was able to dance all night in it too. You can tell that her future husband was smitten with her during their first look!
The Groom and his squad wore classic navy-blue suits that was a perfect backdrop to the vibrant color theme. Handkerchiefs and ties in deep coral and Boutonnieres in ivory spray roses rounded it out.

Sweet tooth anyone? This cake is a feast for the eyes. All ‘Jamie’s Sweet Eats’ cakes are delicious! There was a magical ingredient that most everyone loves – Mouth watering strawberry filling and it is homemade too.
The floral recipe for this Vibrant Boho wedding called for large blousy flowers. We used varieties of Tulips, Café Dahlias, Fox Dahlias, Snapdragons, and Gold Capriccio roses just to name a few of pretty flowers to match her color scheme. The table centerpieces had glass vintage compotes filled to the brim with lush flowers. Since there were vibrant colors – it meant she did not have to add much decor. Keeping it simple made this Boho Style lean on the modern side. Katelyn and Joseph’s guests were wowed and had a wonderful time! I will tell you a little secret – our Emery’s Buffalo Creek team was smitten too! To check out more wedding photos from this Vibrant Boho Wedding Click Here.
We hope you enjoyed this Vibrant Boho Inspired Wedding Design as much as we did!
